Wow man that is really a great shot. The window brings a focus right on the face, with a great colorimetry contrast. I really do like ...

Hello! As usual, I will write my critique in several different points. First of all, congrats! This is a very poetic picture you made....

Hi! Well, i'll say it in different points. First of all, the composition. As it is square, putting the butterfly on the left is a...

Wow... I'll try to be objective but... What is that border? Seriously, apart from being really kitsch, it completely blocks the dr...

Well well... First critique for me, don't be too tough. So, to begin, the light is really controlled, nothing but the opening is b...

Viet Nam part.2

Journal Entry: Mon Oct 12, 2009, 1:20 PM

Hi!
As some of you might have noticed, I have been away quite a long time, and I'm coming back with new pictures from an old journey.

The fact is I'm living some changes : my graphic design school doesn't interest as much as it used to do.
I'm thinking about getting into photography, and specifically photojournalism. That's why watching again my pictures from Vietnam I had kind of a new look on it.

I'm about to contact Abbas and Agnes Dherbeys, who both are photojournalists to ask them about having an intern during next summer.
Hope so much that one of them will say yes. For those of you who don't know them, Abbas is an iranian currently covering the women manifestations in Teheran, and Agnes Dherbeys is one of the photograpraphs deployed in South East Asia and works for Courrier International and Le Monde, among others.

Tonight, I have seen for the second time the movie Battle in Seattle. This reinforces my will to make this world change, and I'm preparing to commit into this.
